Cancellation Policy

Registration Cost (full program) includes tuition, course materials, housing (14 nights - pricing varies), two meals per day provided, laundry service, and Doe Bay property access. See below for rate options. Deposit: $500 (due on registration, applied towards the total cost)​ Cancellation Policy All fees paid are fully refundable until July 15, 2026. Between July 16 and August 15, 2026, fees are 50% refundable. After August 15, 2026, no refunds will be made. If the program is cancelled by the organizer for any other cause, you will be notified as soon as possible and fully refunded. Sales Tax: As of October 1, 2025, WA state requires sales tax for classes and workshops (currently 8.35% in San Juan County) - this will be applied to the tuition part of the fee ($2,950 through March 31; $3,350 beginning April 1)= Registration with Esalen Massage and Bodywork Association (EMBA) - optional - $150 payable to Esalen Institute upon completion of all coursework and with instructor approval - Required if you intend to use the name "Esalen" in your marketing and description of services. Registration includes one year of membership in EMBA and a practitioner listing on massage.esalen.org Travel Insurance is recommended if you are flying to Orcas Island or elsewhere in your travels.
